“Horay, Horay, it’s the first of May!  Out door Fking starts today!”  Believe it or not, that adorable little jingle was a favorite saying of my G-Momma…Dad’s mom of course….Now you know where I get my humor.  I will tell you this, I share her enthusiasm for the late spring.  The calendar if FULL of great events, the weather is warm, and it's full on rally season.  No more excuses, lets ride!  

Check out the cover this months magazine!  The 334 issue of The Carolinas’ Full Throttle Magazine features The Dirty Armadillo in Little River, SC.  They host the north end of the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally on May 8-17 and have teamed up with 17 Customs to bring a weeks worth of parties for YOU.  If you like live music, Cold Drinks, Good Food, Bike Nights and stuff like that, you gotta check out the Dirty Armadillo!  You can read up on them on pages 5-6 and see their entire calendar of rally events!

We have been hitting the beach for the bike rally for 27 years and we still manage to have a big time.  It’s bike week baby!  But if you are looking for a couple hot spots to hang out, we have some suggestions! Check out our favorite spots and their offerings on pages 14-18!  We also have TWO bike shows during the bike rally!  If you have or love choppers and antique motorcycles ya need to check out our Chop Suey bike show on Friday May 15th at Barnacle Bills in Murrells Inlet.  It’s a free registration bike show and the awards are vintage chrome toasters!  On Saturday May 16th we host our annual “All Class” bike show at Bubbas Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach. That’s the big one, we absolutely pack the parking lot with custom chrome and the people who love them!  Again, it’s a free bike show, but this one had cash prizes to go along with the custom trophies.  Ya gotta come and check em out!  

Not going to the bike rally??? What’s wrong with you? Don’t worry there are plenty of events going on in the Carolinas’ and we have em for ya in the Cruisin’ Calendar!  We also have a handful of cool event coverage articles, two bike features and a ton of photos and local biker type advertisements!  We appreciate you picking up the magazine and keeping it real.
